Create-A-Cake Parties!

 A fun and unique way for your child and friends to show off their talent and imaginations by creating their very own edible art!  Each child will be given the opportunity to decorate their very own cake.  Their finished cake is then boxed to be taken home.  They will be so proud to share their finished creations with their family and friends!  And then... what better way to bring a fun cake decorating party to an end than to eat a beautifully decorated cake!  This fresh and delicious cake will be made by me and custom decorated to match your party theme.

 

Frequently Asked Questions...

What does a Create-a-Cake party include?  Includes: *A custom decorated theme cake to serve at the party ~ 8 individual 6” round cakes, placed on a cake board, ready to be “created”.  ~  White icing plus frosting in 4 colors of your choice to decorate with. ~ Basic tools needed for the artists to create their “Edible Art” (all tools are to be returned to me before I leave the party). ~ 8 disposable aprons ~  Boxes for the artists to take their creations home to show off! and Approx. 30 minutes of basic decorating instructions and help given.

 

Are decorating CAKES the only option?   There are two other options:  you may choose to create cupcakes or cookies.  Contact me for details.

 

May Create-a-Cake be done with any themed birthday party?  Absolutely!  Because you are responsible for the decorations and partyware, you may use any party theme like.  As a part of the package, you get to choose a *custom decorated cake to be served at the party.  Also, because you have a choice of colors and decorations used, their cake creations can also be incorporated into any theme.

 

Will you attend the party and give instructions?   Yes!  As part of the package I will attend the party and give up to 30 minutes of instructions and tips, and help the children create their very own cakes. 

 

What decorating techniques will be taught?  I will show them how to make stars, drop flowers, rosettes, leaves, simple borders and writing.  For older children, I can even show them how to make a few simple flowers like roses, mums and daisies. 

 

May Create-a-Cake be done with young children?  The minimum age for a Create-a-Cake party is 8 years old.  At this age children are fairly independent, but still require one-on-one attention and a little help.
