My name is Jennifer and I live with my wonderful husband of 21 years and our three awesome kids in Harlingen, Texas.  We are about 45 minutes from South Padre Island in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley.

I grew up watching my mom decorate cakes.  Some of my fondest memories are of sitting around the dining room table watching her make beautiful cakes for our friends and family.  I started decorating myself when my oldest son was about to turn two years old and wanted a "Larry Boy" birthday cake.  At that time there was nothing available on the market so I jumped in and created his cake myself (continue scrolling down to see a picture of this cake).  I enjoyed it so much and from that first cake I was hooked!  I've been decorating for friends and family ever since. 

I don't yet have a "store front" shop in Harlingen but have access to a licensed and inspected commercial kitchen and am approved by the Harlingen, Texas Department of Health.  My dream is to one day open a shop of my own (after I get all my little ones in school).  Until then, I just enjoy doing cakes, cookies, mints and candies.  I am always happy to share with anyone how I've done a cake, to give some suggestions on how to do a particular cake or to help someone find a cake decorator in their area.
